of solace and gateway of destitute welcome every man and woman,
young and old to spend a few minutes of their valuable time,
by visiting and get convinced the far sightedness and discernment
of the leader who felt the pulse of the poor or the story
of rags. |

The
association is running 2 orphanages, one for boys and the
other for girls and an old age home for the indigent. |

In the St. Thomas Orphanage
Home at Iringole,
the caretakers are well experienced.They consider
that social work is an obligation to the mankind and
children are the greatest blessing of the HEAVENS.They
are very precious to the Lord.They should not be allowed
to abandon on the street.

In
the girl's home at Thungali, the inmates are safe in the hands
of dedicated nuns who resemble melting candles of the altar,
which emit radiant light of self-sacrifice.The inmates get
care, love, affection, protection and everything from them. |

| What
the orphanages do? |
| |
Orphans & Destitute children
from weaker sections of the society are admitted at the
age of five onwards.They are given food, clothes, medicine
and other kind of help to become good citizens.
School children are admitted
to the nearby-recognized schools. Learning to know, learning
to do, learning to live together is inculcated from the
beginning.
We provide mental, physical,
emotional care and guidance.We teach them spiritual and
moral values.
Children are budding futures.They
should grow in sunshine and shower, learn truth, and courage
from all-round. Equanimity, equipoise, peace of mind and
harmony are spread all over the orphanage surroundings.

home, Iringole accommodates 50 inmates and all are attending
different recognized schools.

home, Thungali accommodates 43 inmates and all are school
going students.

| The
Athunkal Geevarghese Memorial Old Age Home (A.
G. M KARUNALAYAM) is established in 1998, at
Piravam, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala in memory of Late Very
Rev. Fr. Athunkal Geevarghese Corepiscopa, the founder
of the E.A.E. Free admittance is given
to age-old destitute, irrespective of cast, creed or
sex. Today there are 17 inmates and the expenditure
is met by the donations received from the well-wishers.

These
three charitable institutions are a sort of comfort to the
weaker sections.At present the above institutions are financially
tied up.Many well wishers send us donations in connection
with their BIRTHDAY, WEDDING DAY, ANNIVERSARY etc to feed
the inmates. |
